At CabFabLab we have built the RepRap Mendel. The current status of the project is that the machine basically works, but not yet perfectly. Some work is needed on finding the right settings and doing adjustments to produce good objects. Possible improvements that it could use are creating a heated bed to prevent warping of the object, building a better and faster extruder, and improving the software to make printing easier or more accurate.
